Kuzuzangpo la everyone. I am Dawa Tshering of Paro College
currently studying in final year pursuing Bachelor of Primary Education. I am
from Jangbi under Trongsa dzongkhag. I have studied till grade five at my
village community school. To continue my studies I went to Langthel Lower
Secondary School and completed till grade eight. Then I have completed my grade
nine and ten from Taktse middle Secondary School. Finally I have completed my
twelve graduates from Sherubling Central School which is just above Trongsa
Dzong.
In mid of 2017, I got opportunity to study here at
Paro College. I have four siblings including myself and I am the youngest one
from our family. Sister is the eldest among us follow by my two elder brothers.
Unluckily due to the sickness all of them could not study and I am the only one
who got opportunity to study. My parents are farmer and nobody from our family
works in government service. All my siblings have their own family to raise and
nobody stay with my parents.
I am from remote village where I have to travel on
foot by two days from highway. In my society, we use Olay kha (Monkha) which is
similar to Doya’s language as mother tongue. In 2007, her majesty Azhi Dorji
Wangmo visited our school and selects myself as a kidu recipient. When I reach
in class eight, her majesty handover kidu students for his majesty fifth king
and till today, I have been receiving kidu allowance from his majesty every
month.
Wherever I go, I always pray for her majesty and his
majesty for their long live and prosperous life. Without her majesty and his
majesty, I might have lent up as farmer as my parents doesn’t have any land to
work and to do my expenditure. In every morning and evening, I use to pray for
all the sentient being and for our majesty and her majesty azhi Dorji Wangmo.
I spent my leisure time on writing dzongkha poem and
story. I also like to play outdoor games like football. Most of the free time I
spent listening music and biography of great saint like Juetsuen milarepa, Ling
Gyeser and Drukpa Kuenlay. Actually I have hoped to become doctor as I like
helping sick people but I could not qualify there. Still then I like teaching
as I can help many students in future.
Thank you...
